Hi
Well - almost a full month of sunshine - Wales has never looked better. The lambs are in the fields and the trees are in leaf. Bodnant Gardens are a blaze of colour. Thinking of a short break? Come to Betws-y-coed and try the new Tree Top Adventure course on the outskirts of the village. We did! It is very do-able and great fun once you have conquered your fear.
We look forward to welcoming you at The Courthouse (Henllys).
Regards
Mark & Gillian Bidwell

The Tryweryn is a dam released river so water is often flowing when other British rivers are dry, thus producing a unique year round white water venue.

Harlech Castle Like an all-seeing sentinel, spectacularly sited Harlech Castle gazes out across land and sea, keeping a watchful eye over Snowdonia. The English monarch Edward I built Harlech in the late 13th century to fulfill this very role. The rocky outcrop on which it is perched gives the castle immense strength. Looking seawards, Harlech's battlements are a continuation of a near-vertical cliff-face, while any landward attackers would first have to deal with a massive twin towered gatehouse.
Unsurprisingly, it is now a World Heritage Site. The fortress's massive inner walls and towers still A stand almost to their full

How about a visit to North Wales with a mission? Visit as many waterfalls as you can. You will struggle because North Wales is a land of waterfalls. However, they are often to be found at the end of a very nice walk. What more could you want? Beautiful countryside, good exercise and one of natures wonders to see at the end of you trek.
This is not meant to be an exhaustive list of Welsh waterfalls, but here are some that I have visited and photographed. Some are very well known, others might be new to you,
