Dear Friends
This newsletter is sent hopeing that we find you well.
All is fine at Coed-y-Celyn.
As you can see from the following articles, the Antiques Roadshow is coming to Bodnant Gardens. Typical, of all the renovations that have been completed, the only "treasure" we have found here is a 1935 South African shilling. Sadly, no pictures hidden behind a false panel!!!
We have some good news regarding larger groups and families for next year. See the article regarding Coed y Celyn Lodge.
Well, "summer" is now nearly over and Autumn is now just around the corner. Autumn is a great time to visit the Mountains of Snowdonia. The scenic views and colours are wonderful.
The long range weather forcast for October/November is allegedly looking good, so why not come & visit.
Our first season with our small 'allotment' has been quite successful. Courgettes in abundance, 1 carrot so far, a huge marrow (Michael is convinced that it would have been a winner at any garden show), 5 tidy sized beetroot, already pickled (thanks to the guests who sent the seeds. No names mentioned, you know who you are, many thanks !!!) Parsnips, carrots and sprouts still to come.
We hope to see you very soon.
Best Wishes
Michael & Tracy

Why not take a piece of culinary Wales home with you.
You have tasted it in the restaurant, now take some home.
Alun and Nerys Davies were at a smallholders Fair when they fell in love with their first Zwarbles.
Zwarbles? It's a breed of sheep from Holland that once seen, isn't easily forgotton, as their story proves. "We saw one shearling and bought her completely on a whim, We Hadn't gone expecting to bring anything home and even had to put her in the back of the car!"
Nine years on, they have 25 of the unusual, stripey black and white ewes
