Dear Friends,

I noticed for the first time yesterday that the leaves are starting to change. Autumn is a magical time in North Wales. However, it would not be the same without you. After all who will walk through the woods and catch the spiralling leaf as it glides earthbound, who will kick their way through the fresh piles that mask the path ahead? Who will marvel at the myriad shades of reddish/brown and the intricate patterns of the leaf as you hold it up to shafts of light piercing the woodland canopy? North Wales is covered with woods and forests. We need you all. Don’t let a leaf fall in vain. Autumn is also the time the stars come to North Wales. Not film or TV stars, but ones of a more heavenly presence; the Plough, Orion, Ursa Major and the rest of the gang. Due to the relative low levels of light pollution in many parts of the North Wales countryside and coast it is very easy to walk a short distance and marvel at the vastness of the universe. So whether you want to view the world in miniature or in its immensity then Autumn is the time to do it and North Wales is the place. The link to short breaks at the bottom of the page offers lots of accommodation at special rates. All the best, Kevin
